Lake Howell Health Center Dr. Hoffman spent 21 years as a family practitioner in Winter Park before founding the Lake Howell Health Center in 2010. His goal was to create a private practice that was affordable and convenient for his patients. With his commitment to treating addiction and a growing trend of addiction issues, Dr. Hoffman designed additional convenience for his SoberDoc patients. Specialized waiting rooms allow higher-profile addiction patients to get treatment out of the public eye. Those who need counseling as part of their treatment can visit Lake Howell Health Center’s resident counselor Sam Beckman. In addition to providing treatment for patients, Dr. Hoffman serves as the principal investigator for Lake Howell Health Center’s TRY Research program, which conducts clinical trials of new drugs. This allows him to study the effects of new medications before they are released to the general public.
